Overview
Our academic enrichment programs have been designed to supplement the instructional topics of the classroom and learning modalities of the student. Programs are tailored to fit the needs of the school, and every student will experience a program in line with their individual academic needs.
Full S.T.E.A.M. Ahead
S.T.E.A.M. is an integrated approach to learning which requires connections between standards, assessment, and lesson design/implementation. It uses Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts and Mathematics as access points for guiding student inquiry, dialogue and critical thinking. Our programs aim to teach students how to think critically, and have a design approach towards real-world problems while building on their math and science base. S.T.E.A.M.-Ed will collaborate with schools to encourage, educate and prepare today's youth for tomorrow.
Elementary School
The California Common Core State Standards are intertwined into each of our enrichment programs. Students will take part in activities that show real-life implications and pull together ideas presented in school to demonstrate that what they are learning is pertinent both to them personally and to their community, locally and globally.
