The Dawn of the Space Age with the launching of Sputnik on October 4, 1957 evoked a sense of passion and wonder for flight and the world beyond our reach. Since then man has landed on the moon, satellites run our everyday lives, and a rover is exploring the red planet. S.T.E.A.M.-Ed aims to replicate a sense of awe and exploration in science that captivated a whole generation. In this program, students will learn the various aspects of flight and motion. From rockets to tectonic plates, the world around us is dynamic and bustling with energy as ever before! Students will learn to use and appreciate the Scientific Method while they carry out experiments in each of their lessons.
