STEAM-Ed began as a project to develop tutorial and academic enrichment programs based in science, technology, engineering, the arts, and math.

Founded in March 2018, STEAM-Ed will have as part of it's mission the responsibility of designing and developing curriculum which incorporate California's Common Core State Standards into programs focused in Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts/Ag, and Math (STEAM).  STEAM Education encompasses a "real-world" approach to academics and instruction than traditional STEM coursework.  The ARTS and artistic expression allow the four remaining disciplines to develop into innovative, world-changing advances, concepts, and discoveries.
